Is there any indication of a clock tied to real time

Some games run their in world clock against the system clock so that night in the game is night where you are.

This series has always used a compressed cycle instead, which is the right choice for a game where you need to see both states in one session. Asking because a couple of people have mentioned real time weather and real time clocks as though they were expected, and I cannot find anything suggesting either.
