V had around seventy story missions depending on how you count the ones with multiple parts. RDR2 had over a hundred across its chapters.
Nothing has been said about this one. Asking because eighty hours divided by a mission count tells you something about how much of that time is structured content versus everything else, and those are very different games to plan a week off for.

Given the chapter structure I would expect it to look more like RDR2's distribution than V's, which means more missions but shorter ones on average.
That is the distinction I was actually reaching for. Not how many hours but how much of the eighty is structured, and chapters imply a lot of it is.
