Are we going to get a performance mode discourse

Genuine question about what to expect rather than a complaint in advance.

No resolution or frame rate targets have been published for any version. Reviews will not generally cover it in detail. The technical analysis outlets will publish within about seventy two hours of launch and whatever they find becomes the consensus.

So the actual question is: does anyone here care enough for it to matter, or is this a game where people will play it at whatever it runs at and be perfectly happy?

The interesting version of this discourse is whether a thirty frame game with this much ambient detail feels better than a sixty frame game with less, and nobody will frame it that way.

The seventy two hour thing is right and it means the technical consensus gets set by one video before most people have finished the first chapter.
