Everything a newcomer has to do before November 19, in order

Trying to write the shortest possible version of this because the long versions put people off.

Decide Standard or Ultimate. You can upgrade later, so Standard is the safe default.
Preorder before November 20 if you want the Vintage pack. Digital through the console store also gets you a GTA plus month.
Clear storage now, not in November.
Preload on November 12.

That is the entire list. Am I missing a step anyone would actually need?

Genuinely useful. Four steps is manageable and every other guide I found was two thousand words.

Add a zero step: decide whether you want a physical box, because that is a preorder decision too and it is a code in a box, not a disc.

Would add a step five for anyone who cares: decide when you are going dark. It is not a purchase decision but it is the other thing you have to plan.
