they come with side missions. thats what was actually stated. side missions is not the same as an income stream and people have quietly upgraded one into the other over about six weeks
Worth noting V did have income generating properties, so the assumption is not unreasonable. It is just an assumption.
You are right and this is a good catch. Side missions is what was stated. Income is what people started saying about three weeks later.
This is the exact failure mode this forum was set up to avoid and it happened anyway, slowly, without anyone noticing.
As someone who bought Ultimate partly on that assumption, this thread is slightly uncomfortable and entirely correct.
a thing turning into a fact over six weeks with nobody lying about it is genuinely how misinformation works and this is a small clean example

Reasonable assumption clearly labelled is fine. Reasonable assumption quoted as a feature in a newcomer thread is not, and that is what was starting to happen.
