What is everybody actually doing with October

Somebody made the point that the quiet month is the dangerous one and I think that is right for reasons beyond spoilers.

Eight weeks of nothing, with a date on the calendar, is a strange psychological object. September still has momentum. November has the thing. October is just waiting with the volume turned down.

So genuinely: what is everyone doing with it? Because playing something else feels like a waste and playing nothing feels worse lol
