A note for new accounts on how this place actually works

We have had a lot of new people since the reveal, so here is the unwritten stuff.

Most of what gets discussed here is inference. A small amount is sourced. The difference matters and people will ask you which one you are doing, not to be difficult but because this forum has spent a year trying not to turn into a rumour mill.

If you say something is confirmed, somebody will ask where from. That is not an attack. Say you are guessing and nobody minds at all.

The other thing: there is no hierarchy here. The people who post the most are just the people with the most time. Ignore anyone who acts otherwise, including me.
