Strange question. I have never bought a game at launch. I have spent about four months reading this forum and I have learned a genuinely absurd amount.
And now I am nervous. Not that it will be bad. That I will not like it as much as all of you do, and that I will have spent four months on something and then found out it was not for me after all.
I think I know the answer. I would still quite like to hear someone say it.

You have spent four months learning how a very large thing gets made and analysed, with people who mostly try to be honest. That was worth it whatever happens in November lol

i joined two days after the reveal same as you basically and i have been nervous the entire time. everyone here is nervous, they just phrase it as predictions
the worry thread from a couple of days ago is literally forty people saying what they are scared of. you are in extremely normal company
