My son asked if he could play it and I did not know what to say

He is thirteen. I was eighteen when I played the 2002 one and I do not think I was old enough for it either.

What I keep landing on is that the honest reason I want him to play it is not that I think he is ready. It is that I want to watch someone see that city for the first time, and he is the only person in the house who has not already seen everything I have shown him for three years.

So the answer is no, and it is no for the right reason and also slightly for the wrong one... which I think is how most of these decisions actually go.
