the criminal profile system is going to be misunderstood constantly

people keep calling it honor 2.0 and thats not what they described. its context aware. blowing up a gas station for no reason builds it. doing violence a mission requires is treated separately. picking up litter apparently counts the other way which is genuinely funny

so its not good vs evil its more like how much of a menace are you when nobody asked you to be. thats a way better system than honor and people are going to complain about it anyway

Mission violence being handled separately is the design decision that makes it workable. That was the thing that broke honor in RDR2.

The litter detail is real and it is the clearest signal that this is not an alignment meter. Nobody puts disposing of rubbish into a good versus evil system.
