I have watched every reveal for this series since 2001 and this one was different

The 2002 one arrived in magazines. Screenshots you looked at for a month because there was nothing else. San Andreas was the same. IV was the first one that felt like an event online. V was the first one where the whole internet stopped at the same moment.

This one was the first where the reveal was not about showing you the game. Forty minutes of footage and I could not tell you a single thing about the plot, the cast, or how it ends. They showed me a place and how it feels to be in it and then stopped.

Twenty five years of watching these and I have never seen a company have that much restraint with that much material.
