I joined this forum two days after the reveal because I wanted to know whether I needed to play the older ones first. Somebody answered in twenty minutes and told me no, and to go in at launch, and that being new to a GTA at launch is a good thing rather than a disadvantage.

Since then this place has taught me what a wanted level is, what a criminal profile might be, why the map arguments matter, how to clear storage, what to do if the licence check fails, and not to open a completion guide in November.

I have also read about a bakery, a crane, a hotel sign, thirty four fake brands, a fence in a field, and four seconds of two people not talking in a car.

I have not played a single Grand Theft Auto game. I will have played one in seventy six days. Thank you for being extremely patient with someone who did not know anything.
