That is a lot of flavour and almost no mechanics. Every thread I read fills the gap with RDR2 assumptions. What do we actually have?

Mechanically we have almost nothing. Hunting, fishing and off road trails are named, the location is named, and the flavour text describes the people. That is it.
What you can reasonably infer is that naming three activities for one region means those are systems rather than props, because you do not list props. Everything past that is RDR2 assumption and you are right to flag it.

On the state border is the other detail. A border implies something on the other side, even if it is only scenery.
That is exactly the calibration I wanted. Named activities are systems, everything else is my own hoping.
Borders in these games are usually a wall with good set dressing. I would not read anything into it.
