Ground rules before we build a vehicle identification list

Proposing these before the 27th so we have something in place when a lot of new footage arrives.

A vehicle counts as identified only if a badge, a name on screen, or official text confirms it.
Real world equivalents are useful and are not identifications. Saying it looks like a Chevelle is different from saying it is a Tulip.
If two people disagree, the row stays empty until there is a frame that settles it.

I would rather have a short correct list than a long one that gets quoted for three months and turns out to be half wrong.

Rule three is going to make some people furious and it is the most important one.

Adopting these for my list too. Rule two is the one that will be hardest to hold when four hundred people are posting identifications on the 28th.

Coming to this a week later and yes, I have adopted these for adjacency claims as well. Cut based transitions do not count as evidence.

Agreed on all three, especially the third. An empty row is information. A wrong row is worse than nothing because it gets quoted.
