missions having more than one way out is such a specific thing to mention. its not multiple approaches, which every game claims. its escape routes, which means the mission is not over when the objective is done
that is the entire structure of the best rdr2 missions. the job goes fine and then you have to get away and that is where the actual mission was hiding the whole time
Combine this with the wanted system rework and the escape is arguably the main event of every mission now. That is a big structural bet.

V's heists had a getaway but it was scripted. A choice of getaway is a completely different design cost.
