The actual historical gap between a Rockstar console launch and the PC version

Posting the pattern rather than a prediction, because the PC threads keep going in circles.

GTA V arrived on consoles in September 2013 and on PC in April 2015, which is about nineteen months, though that gap included a whole console generation transition in the middle.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was October 2018 on consoles and November 2019 on PC, which is thirteen months.

So the honest range from their own history is roughly twelve to twenty months, with nothing announced for this one. Anyone quoting a specific date is inventing it. Anyone saying never is ignoring two very clear precedents.

Thirteen months for Red Dead is the number I hold on to and the nineteen for V had a console generation inside it, so it is not really comparable lol

late 2027 is the obvious guess and everyone knows it and nobody will say it because then they would have to wait for it

Thirteen months would put it around christmas 2027, which is a very plausible slot for a company that likes a december quarter.
