the way the sun bounces off the murals onto the wet pavement. every surface has a different roughness. you can tell which walls got repainted recently because they are matte and the old ones are chalky
they brought in over 50 real street artists for those murals apparently. it shows. nothing in that district looks copy pasted
The roughness variation is the detail I would point people to as well. Look at the difference between a repainted wall and the one next to it around the same section. Two different material definitions in the same shot.

Fifty plus real artists is one of those details that sounds like a press line until you see the district and realise no two walls repeat.
The wet pavement look is the thing that takes me back to the old games more than anything else... they have always been good at rain.
