Traffic reacting to the police rather than to the player is a much bigger claim than the junction thing and it deserves its own look.

That is the cleanest answer, thank you. Same number, damage reduces it, unconfirmed until someone sees a transaction.

Every fact we have about Lucia's mother is second hand through a bio about someone else, which is a strange and effective way to introduce someone.

Three and a half of six is a genuinely funny way to summarise three years of marketing.

One ending, many routes, is also much easier to write well than three endings written to equal quality.

Answered, thank you both. Marking the tulipdriver reply since it is the explanation that actually connects it to something.

The app telling you about the alarm before you commit is the part that makes the friction fair. You are never surprised, you are only ever choosing.

Two profiles two saves is also how you avoid the argument about who gets to play first on the 19th.

Which connects to the mask and clothing system directly. You would know from the radio whether changing your shirt was going to help.

The licence check detail is the one I would not have known about. Single player and it still needs to phone home once.

The cloner being locked behind progression is the part I like. It makes the good cars feel earned rather than just parked somewhere.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

Three stars maximum across forty minutes is a very deliberate ceiling for a marketing capture.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

Oh that would connect the two systems really neatly. That makes a lot of sense.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

That is the answer I was reaching for without being able to say it. The app is a moral system pretending to be a convenience.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

And the app tells you about the alarm first, so you are never surprised mid animation. That is the part that makes the length survivable.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

Adding that the app telling you if a car has an alarm before you touch it is friction removal, not friction. People keep leaving that half out.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

That is a better question than mine and I do not have an answer to it.

  • 6d agoHaven't playedOpen thread

The scanning question is the practical one. If you can scan from cover then the app is a combat tool as well as a theft tool.

The trunk storing spare clothes suddenly makes a lot more sense as a system now

The sourced versus inferred distinction is why I started tagging my own posts with what I actually know, which is usually less than I thought.
